You haven’t seen Windsor until you’ve seen it by Duck!
Laugh, learn and experience our fantastic 1-hour live guided tour by Road and River!
The commentary we offer is fun, lighthearted with a dash of history, keeping it fun for all ages.
Our unique adventure begins by road in the heart of Windsor, taking in the famous sights, before ‘SPLASHDOWN’ into the River Thames, travelling downstream to Windsor with unforgettable views of Windsor Castle and Eton.
We run two types of tour – Swan and Mallard – which vary the time spent on water and road; check our website for details.
Our tours run most days of the year; check our booking pages for available dates and times.
Booking in advance during holidays and the summer season is essential to reserve your place on our tour.
We also offer private hire for corporate groups, birthdays, schools, etc.
Our tour pick-up point is DUCK STOP, opposite Theatre Royal, 32 Thames St, Windsor, SL4 1PS.
The 26-seat amphibious vehicle we use was purpose-built in 2010 for maximum safety and comfort of our passengers.
Our vehicles are NEW, purpose-built to carry passengers, not converted wartime units.
They meet safety standards for land (VOSA) and water (MCA) straight from the factory.
Our drivers are boatmen with a minimum of Tier 2 qualification for the water and cat ‘D’ PSV Drivers for the Road.
Windsor & Eton Riverside Station - Walk out of the station doors towards Windsor, cross the road walking past the fountain towards the castle. Our duck stop is 50m from the fountain on the castle side of the road.
Windsor & Eton Central Station - Head out of the train towards Windsor Royal Shopping Center. Turn left when you get to the old steam train and walk up the hill towards the castle. Cross the road and with the castle in front of you turn left and walk down the hill. You can't miss our stop at the bottom of the hill.
