In between two rivers on the South Coast of England sits the idyllic harbourside town of Christchurch, on the edge of Dorset and Hampshire. Offering a choice of award-winning beaches, nature reserves, heritage attractions and a charming quay.
In the summer the rivers and harbour are awash with boat owners, kayakers and stand-up paddle boarders. Throughout the year the quay plays host to a variety of cultural events.
Christchurch is steeped in history and heritage and brimming with soul. Explore historic sites with story-telling aplenty through its cobbled streets. Every nook of this beautiful and quaint town will surprise you. Visit the stunning Priory in the heart of the town or venture out of the main town centre to visit Highcliffe Castle for a unique and fascinating visitor experience.
Christchurch and the surrounding area offer a range of superb holiday accommodation, many with river or coastal views and some positioned right on the riverbank and harbours edge.
Sandwiched between the New Forest National Park on one side and the bustling resort of Bournemouth on the other (with the rest of beautiful Dorset beyond), Christchurch is perfectly located for your next coastal break away.
