Here at the Windsor & Maidenhead Boat Company, we like to make your day out one to remember. We operate a beautiful vessel called the Georgian, which is more like a floating restaurant that moves rather than just a boat that you might expect. We offer four types of cruises for you to enjoy. Built on a team of family and friends, The Windsor & Maidenhead Boat Company has a passion for the River Thames and first-class service at its heart.
Daily Cruises
Our daily cruise departs from Maidenhead, and pre-booked is essential. The Lunch Cruise departs at noon for 2 hours, offering a 3-cours lunch. From 3 pm to 5 pm, we have an afternoon tea cruise that you can choose between a sweet, savoury and alternative afternoon tea. Dinner departs at 6 pm returning at 8 pm with canapés on arrival and a 3-course dinner. When booking, you are required to select your menu choices. On the Daily cruise, you are booking a table and not the whole boat. Make the Georgian your new favourite restaurant.
Corporate Events
Get out of the office for your next corporate event and spend the day on the Thames. The Georgian has a versatile layout making her ideal for team building, product launches, and board meetings. We also have several packages to help you stick to your budget. There is also presentation equipment available on-board. The Georgian can have chairs for a presentation or a completely open space for networking. You can also achieve a higher level of attendance at your event with the added lure of a day out afloat.
Special Occasions
The Georgian is a superb venue for your wedding party or celebration, such as birthdays, anniversaries or even a school prom. Above all else, we want you to enjoy your special occasion, so we are here to help make your event one to remember. We have a package option that includes the boat hire for 3 hours, a welcome drink for your guests and option one from our menu pack. The price is based on the number of guests you bring. Upgrades to the menu, drink option and entertainment are available. You are more than welcome to give us a call, and we can discuss your requirements and provide you with a quote. You can also hire the vessel by the hour if you want to have your own catering or other options.
Day Excursions
Enjoy a premium day out on the Thames with your group. Each trip includes a food element and a live commentary or entertainment—also, the all-important cup of tea or coffee. Minimum group numbers apply; however, you will have full private use of the vessel. The maximum number we can accommodate is 60. These cruises are available throughout the year, Monday to Friday, with a choice of departure time from 12 pm to 2:30 pm, with cruises lasting 3 hours. You can also choose your departure point between Maidenhead Riverside Gardens or Windsor Leisure Centre Wharf.
