The Cherwell Boathouse is an iconic Oxford punt station and restaurant on the banks of the river Cherwell. Established in 1904, the family run Boathouse now has over 80 handmade punts in the water and is an idyllic spot for punting, dining and picnics.
The Teahut Bar and Cafe is open in season and serves light food and drinks on a river terrace whilst our restaurant is open all year round. With an alfresco terrace on the decking in the summer, Cherwell is the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon.
We can cater for private parties, events and corporate entertainment.
