Located in the historic at The Corn Exchange in the Pantiles at the heart of the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent, the Tourist Information Centre has a wealth of information on local accommodation, places to visit and events in Kent, Sussex and further afield.

Staff would be happy to find and book accommodation based on your specific requirements, put together itineraries, make travel arrangements and book event tickets on your behalf – everything which will make your stay in the area more enjoyable. The Centre is also a great place to purchase maps, guide books, souvenirs and gifts unique to Royal Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area – ideal for making the most of your visit or as a special memento of your stay.

Guided walks take place most Thursday and Saturday mornings (1st April to the last weekend in September) at 11:00am - regardless of the weather! Please do check our What's On page for dates.

Tickets: Only £5.00, available from the Royal Tunbridge Wells Tourist Information Centre. Tours last one hour.

Situated on the Kent-Sussex border, the surrounding area is known for its wide variety of gardens – both famous, such as those Sissinghurst Castle and not so famous smaller, privately run gardens open to the public – as well as some of the country’s finest examples of historic houses and castles such as Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Chartwell. Royal Tunbridge Well makes the ideal base for exploring these and the surrounding countryside.

Road Directions

The Tourist Information Centre is located in the Pantiles - accessed via Linden Park Road and signed from all major entry points to Royal Tunbridge Wells. From the north - take A26 south via London Road and Eridge Road. Turn left into Linden Park Road. From the south - A26 north, turn right into Linden Park Road located 500m after roundabout. The Tourist Information Centre is in The Corn Exchange building in the centre of the Pantiles, 100m from the Chalybeate Spring. Please note, the Pantiles is a pedestrianised area. Drop off points in Linden Park Road. Nearest parking is in the Corn Exchange (access Linden Park Road) or Union House (access A26 Eridge Road). Coach Parking in London Road A26 Bus Stand, Junction of Church Road and London Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, opposite TN1 1DY (51°08'00.5"N 0°15'33.6"E; 51.133481, 0.259338). It is available for use 24 hours

Public Transport Directions

Mainline rail station at Tunbridge Wells with regular services from London Charing Cross and London Bridge, and from stations to Hastings. 10 minute walk south from the station via the High Street and Chapel Place. Regular bus services No. 281 from the station to the Pantiles.
