A weekend of free entertainment in the town centre and on the Quay Green in the beautiful medieval town of Sandwich in Kent. Running over the August Bank Holiday extended weekend - Saturday 23rd August until Monday 25th August 25, this fantastic festival is a celebration of the village past with medieval experiences, craft fair, music, classic cars, market stalls, duck race and more - this weekend is a real kentish experience.
Saturday
09.00 – Music for Martha Guildhall Forecourt
10.00 – 1600 Craft Stalls in St Peter’s Church and gardens
10.00 till 17.00 Medieval Experience at the Sandwich Medieval Centre on the Quay with Blacksmith working his forge and making parts for the Medieval boat 'The Nicholas’. Look out for other crafts that will be demonstrated including woodworking, calligraphy and bread making at various times.
Sunday
10.00 – 15.00 Italian cars by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, UK Kent and East
10.00 – 1600 Craft Stalls in St Peter’s Church and gardens with refreshments
10.00 till 17.00 Medieval Experience at Sandwich Medieval Centre on the Quay with Blacksmith working his forge and making parts for the Medieval boat. Other crafts will be demonstrated including woodworking, calligraphy and bread making at various times.
10.00 -16.00 E-bike test track in the quay dip courtesy of Locks cycles.
