On December 22nd and 23rd, Christmas arrives at Ascot.
Get ready for two days of festive revelry and Jumps racing of the highest calibre at Ascot’s last race meeting of the year: Howden Christmas Racing Weekend.
On Friday, racing takes centre stage with a quality Jumps card. Prepare yourself for a spectacle of speed on Ascot’s emerald lawns as the Grade 2 Howden Noel Novices’ Chase unfolds. Stealing the limelight on Saturday with its Grade 1 prestige, the legendary long-distance Howden Long Walk Hurdle is one you won’t want to miss. Who will claim the illustrious trophy in this year’s yuletide showdown?
Alongside Saturday’s action on the racetrack, there’s an abundance of festivities to enjoy throughout the day. Make sure to have your Christmas list at the ready – Father Christmas will be making a special appearance, spreading joy and making little ones’ dreams come true. Young racegoers can also enjoy meeting Father Christmas’ reindeer, free face painting, pony rides, arts and crafts, and more. Traditional Christmas carols with the Ascot Brass Band will take place in the Grandstand for all to sing-along.
Foodies also have much to look forward to. From scrumptious mince pies to comforting hot chocolate, there are plenty of treats on offer to quench your festive cravings. Dig in. Because after all, a day at Ascot is always a delightful blend of nice and just a little bit naughty.
Tickets from £20, Kids go free with a full-paying adult.
