This beautiful campsite is situated amongst mature woodlands within the Country Park itself and offers a unique camping experience. Being both the perfect destination for both family holidays and quiet breaks or as a touring base, Wellington Country Park Campsite is more than just a campsite.
As a Destination… During the high season, a stay here will offer a jam-packed family holiday, with unlimited access to the Country Park, where kids can play on an assortment of play equipment. There is an adventure play area, slides, sand pits, mini golf, a miniature railway (£1 per ride), an animal farm and so much more including a splash park!
If that’s not for you, then during the low season, Wellington will offer you a peaceful and tranquil stay, where you can enjoy stunning wildlife, nature walks, and the beautiful surroundings of our Country Park.
As a Touring Base... Wellington Country Park's Campsite is an ideal touring base for Hampshire, Berkshire and the South, with easy access for the M3 and M4 motorways. For guests travelling to or from Europe, the site is a convenient distance from the Channel ports. The historic cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, Windsor Castle, and the University town of Oxford are all within an hour’s drive. Much nearer, are the superb shopping facilities of Reading's Oracle Centre and Basingstoke's Festival Place. Other attractions close by include LEGOLAND, Thorpe Park and Chessington to entertain the kids and for the grown-ups, Ascot and Kempton Race Courses; all of which provide a host of entertainment.

From M4 take junction 11 and follow A33 south towards Basingstoke From M3 take junction 5 and follow B3349 north towards Reading The main entrance to the Park and Campsite is off the roundabout. Please note: When entering the post code into your sat nav, it will take you to the central point of the post code. To stop this from happening, please enter either Odiham Road, Riseley or B3349.
Local bus transport runs past the entrance of the Country Park between Aldershot/Farnborough/Fleet and Reading. Reading, Basingstoke, Farnborough and Fleet - direct rail connections to the South Coast and London. Direct bus connection from Reading to Heathrow Airport.
