Follow your outdoor imagination and begin your adventure at Wellington Country Park, perfect for children up to the age of 8 years old.
Set in 350 acres of beautiful parklands off the A33 between Basingstoke and Reading, Wellington Country Park offers a safe, open air, fun filled venue for all the family and has now opened!
To enjoy, the park has several adventure play areas, a toddler’s area, sand pits, slides, miniature railway (£1 extra), animal farm and petting barn, jumping pillow and splash park, nature trail maze, enchanted forest, water play, 12 holes of mini golf and lots of play equipment to climb on and in; all to keep the kid’s busy.
Within woodlands, there are four nature trails to follow taking in sights of our vast array of wildlife in their natural habitat. One trail allows you to get up close and personal to our resident herd of Red and Fallow deer. Surrounding our beautiful 35 acre lake is the perfect location for a family gathering, picnic or BBQ. On the other hand, if you want to relax and enjoy your day, then eat in our cafe and browse round our shop. On offer there is a full selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, gifts and toys.
During the season, Wellington Country Park has over 30 special in-house events and fun days with exciting demonstrations and games for all the family to enjoy! Held in the Park, most are free to join in as part and parcel of your entrance price. See Wellington Country Park's website for dates and full details!
Even your dog is welcome but the park does ask that you keep them on a lead, under control at all times and ask as their owner that you clear up after them!
Wellington Country Park is open daily from mid February to the start of November! So for the ideal destination for play and enjoyment in a safe, well maintained environment where fresh air and the thrill of being at one with nature is foremost, Wellington Country Park, The Biggest Outdoor Play in Berkshire is the place to visit, so join in the fun.
