What if we told you that you could get away from it all in a leafy lake-side hideaway, but still be near to loads of beaches, restaurants, and fun things to do? Feast your eyes on The Lakes Rookley, a gorgeously green getaway smack bang in the middle of the wonderful Isle of Wight. Open all year round, we’ll be here with a warm welcome.
The clue is in the name – our lakes are beautifully scenic and full of exciting water sports to try. And if you prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground, enjoy some tasty tipples and delicious dishes in the Lakeside Bar and Eatery overlooking the water. We’ve an indoor and outdoor pool, so whatever the weather we’ve got the water lovers covered! Our Spinnakers Entertainment Lounge puts on a sprinkling of seasonal entertainment throughout the year, guaranteed to delight the whole family.
Choose from our fantastic range of classic caravans that sleep two to eight. Or indulge in our exclusive Island Cottages with contemporary styled interiors and open-plan living areas, perfect for two to six guests. Our gorgeous Lakehouses, exclusive to The Lakes Rookley overlook the water, letting the outside in with the floor to ceiling sliding doors onto your decking. Our exclusive accommodation also has hot tub options for ultimate relaxation.
Please note, your hot tub may not be situated on your decking area and may be located off your decking beside your accommodation.
Being so central on the island means The Lake Rookley is perfectly located for visiting the most popular attractions. Fancy a beach day? Shanklin is just a short 15-minute drive away, and great family attractions such as the steam railway, Amazon World and Monkey Haven are all within a 10–15-minute drive.
