The Garth Pleasure Grounds

About

The Garth Guest Suite, a studio cottage, is surrounded by the Garth Pleasure Grounds, where you can wander along captivating story trails and discover the wonders of wildlife. Explore the "Pleasure Grounds" designed by renowned Arts and Crafts architect Walter Godfrey, which surround the magnificent Garth workhouse, built in 1729. Explore beautifully designed temples and garden sections inspired by regions across the Mediterranean and Asia, including French, Italian, Greek and Oriental gardens.

Children will love exploring the gardens, story trails, Tortuga Tavern, Santa's Elf workshop and discovering the secrets of The Garth.

There is a unique combination of spa facilities within the grounds, which include an unheated UV filtered outdoor pool, a Himalayan salt sauna and scented spa overlooking the orchard and nuttery. There is also a tennis court to enjoy.

Visit us on one of our open days or book to arrange a private visit (group of 10 minimum). We welcome enquiries for accommodation, birthdays, school/ educational visits, corporate/ team outings, weddings, spa visits, picnics and bespoke events.

If you are considering a morning or afternoon spa session or want to know more information regarding any booking for accommodation, visit or create an unforgettable experience with a bespoke event, please get in touch by email at hello@thegarth.info.
