The Crown Inn is an award-winning country pub with rooms in the West Sussex village of Dial Post. Originally a sixteenth century coaching inn, it offers four beautifully appointed rooms above the pub for overnight stays as well as two self catering cottages. Three of the rooms are doubles with en suite shower room plus a family room that sleeps four with its own separate bathroom. All have a Nespresso coffee machine plus tea making facilities and a mini fridge. You can book room only or with breakfast which is a continental breakfast hamper delivered to the room. There is a self check-in system for each of the rooms/cottages.
The Hayloft and Coach House are the two loft-style self-catering options. The Hayloft sleeps two with the bedroom upstairs with a kitchen/dining area and shower room downstairs. There is also a private patio.
The Coach House is the larger of the two with bedroom upstairs, kitchen/diner, snug and bathroom downstairs also with a private patio. With one double and one single bed (plus a pull out by prior arrangement) it can sleep two adults and two children comfortably.
The pub is open for lunch and dinner every day except Sunday when there is an extended lunch service.
Please note the pub closes between 3pm and 6pm every day between lunch and dinner and is closed on Sunday evenings.
The Crown Inn is a dog friendly establishment and dogs are welcome in all the rooms. There is a small fee for a dog staying overnight of £10.
