Albourne Estate Vineyard

About

Visit Albourne Estate vineyard

Set deep in the glorious Sussex countryside overlooking the South Downs, yet just 8 miles from Brighton. Visitors are warmly welcome at our vineyard as well as in our Tasting Room to sample our award-winning wines.

From vine to bottle, every one of our single estate wines is lovingly crafted on site. Made in a way that respects the natural environment, our wines celebrate our unique Sussex heritage.

Our Tasting Room and vineyard is open to the public from May to the end of September every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.   We also open during the week for various events.  Please visit our website for more information.

We have a range of experiences to suit everyone.

Guided Tours & Tastings

Book a guided, small group tour with wine tasting and Sussex cheese to accompany. Discover more about our vineyard whilst our expert guides you through our production methods and our unique wines. We also offer a Twilight Tour & Tasting on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm and a guided Wine Tasting under the Tipi on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Advance booking is required for all our guided experiences.

Wine Tasting

For something a little more relaxed, visitors are invited to take a self-guided tour around the vineyard followed by a wine tasting at their own pace in our Tasting Room.

With sweeping views over the vines towards the South Downs from our south-facing balcony, you can relax and enjoy our wines together with local Sussex cheese and charcuterie boards.

Vineyard Picnics

If the sun is shining, book a locally sourced picnic hamper for two to share amongst the vines. Advance booking required.

Friday Night Supper Clubs

Join us on Friday evenings throughout the Summer for ‘pop-up’ dining supplied by some of our favourite local chefs and street food vendors. Advance booking required.

Private Hire

If you’re looking for something unique, maybe for a special birthday party or event, our modern and well equipped Tasting Room is the perfect space. With a variety of different table layouts possible, it can accommodate 45 seated to 80 standing, with many more outside.
