Set on the River Thames, the historic Mill at Sonning Theatre has over 40 years of entertainment excellence as the UK's only dinner theatre. It recently won the UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production (Gypsy, 2023).
The Mill, a full production house, builds sets and designs costumes on-site, offering plays, musicals, concerts, magic, comedy nights, and special events year-round. Tickets include free parking, a programme, a freshly prepared two-course meal in the riverside restaurant, and a seat in the intimate, air-conditioned 217-capacity theatre.
For those not seeing a show, the Waterwheel Bar serves Afternoon Tea with outdoor terrace seating. Whether enjoying a performance or a meal by the river, the Mill at Sonning Theatre provides an enchanting setting and a memorable experience. The original waterwheel, still in operation, adds a touch of historical charm to this unique venue, making every visit special.
