Chessington World of Adventures Resort

About

With over 40 rides and attractions in 10 themed lands, a Zoo with over 1,000 animals and SEA LIFE centre, plus daily live shows and seasonal events, Chessington World of Adventures Resort offers a world of fun and excitement for the whole family to enjoy.

The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, a world first, splashes into the Wild Woods at Chessington along with many other Gruffalo offerings across the Resort. Kids and parents alike can join Mouse on a riverboat journey through the deep dark wood, as the story of The Gruffalo* magically unfolds in front of their eyes with exciting twists and turns along the way. The new ride is accompanied by six brand new Gruffalo themed rooms in the Chessington Safari Hotel. There is also The Gruffalo Gift Shop and The Gruffalo Bites food outlet, both offering Gruffalo themed goodies exclusive to Chessington. The Gruffalo Arena hosts a range of Gruffalo activities including character Meet & Greets with the Gruffalo himself, showings of The Gruffalo animated film, plus much, much more!

Venture into Trail of the Kings and walk among jungle giants such as Western Lowland Gorillas, Sumatran Tigers and Asiatic Lions.

See Chessington’s hilarious Pandamonium live show featuring life-size and life-like animatronic pandas. These fluffy friends get up to all sorts of mayhem on stage and guests will roar with laughter at the chaos that ensues.

If that’s not enough excitement, guests can also swing through the trees on either of Chessington’s two Go Ape courses. Navigate high ropes, crossings and tunnels before an exhilarating one-of-a kind four person zip-wire, a UK first for Go Ape.

Whether you want to go on a quest to find some treasure in Chessington's Azteca Hotel, travel into an African Savannah in the Safari Hotel, or go on the wildest of adventures in the great outdoors at Chessington's Explorer Glamping, the Resort’s accommodation provides the perfect short break. Explorer Glamping is perfect for those who want to indulge their adventurous side without compromising life's simple pleasures. The glamping accommodation turns a family sleepover into an exciting, outdoor experience with a truly wild side. There’s a world of fun and excitement for the whole family to enjoy at Britain’s Wildest Adventure. *© 1999 & TM Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler. Licensed by Magic Light Pictures Ltd.
