Immerse yourself in creativity this spring with our Woodblock Printing Workshop, hosted by printmaker Sarah from Sarita Prints Joy. Taking place inside the Garden Marquee, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the art of woodblock printing to design and create your very own cushion cover.
You'll begin by selecting from an extensive collection of beautifully hand-carved Indian woodblocks and a vibrant palette of joyful paint colours. Experiment with layouts on a paper template before progressing to hand-printing your unique design onto a cream cotton 45x45cm square cushion cover to take home and enjoy.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, Sarah will guide you through every step, with all materials provided.
Join us for a morning of creativity and inspiration amidst the beauty of spring at Borde Hill.
Your ticket includes:
Workshop inside the Garden Marquee to include all materials and a cushion cover to take home
Refreshments on arrival
Garden entry to explore the seasonal beauty of spring following your workshop
Please note: If you'd like to add a feather cushion pad insert (45x45cm) for your finished cover, these can be purchased on the day for £8-10. Be sure to indicate your interest when booking.
