Wrap up the year with an evening of lights and lanterns in the museum garden.
Choose from two versions: the main event (6pm to 7:30pm), or an earlier session with sensory provisions for neurodivergent visitors and their loved ones (4:30pm to 5:45pm).
Magical Lights
6pm – 7:30pm
Celebrate the end of the year with crafts, lanterns, and lights in the museum garden.
Activities will include a torchlight trail, lantern making, and more!
£7 per participating child.
Magical Lights, My Way
4:30pm – 5:45pm
A relaxed version of Magical Lights with sensory provision for neurodivergent visitors and their friends, families, and loved ones. Featuring:
Pre-visit sensory maps
Sensory backpacks and ear defenders
Break-out spaces
Themed, facilitated hands-on activities
All activities are optional and you can visit at any point within the event times. We also send out a social story in advance, including details of how to enter and exit the event.
£7 per participating child.
