Leonardslee Coronation Celebration
West Sussex
West Sussex
Celebrate the Coronation of his Majesty King Charles III with a walk through our gardens, being sure not to miss our aptly named Coronation Garden. Created by Sir Giles Loder in 1972 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, containing many beautiful Loderi Rhododendron hybrids. We also have exciting plans to commemorate this historic event, which you can find out more about below.
We have everything you need for the perfect day out for the whole family to celebrate. Enjoy a royal themed afternoon tea at Leonardslee House or find an alfresco picnic spot in our 240 acres with our pre-booked picnics. Get creative with our free kid's activities throughout the gardens. We have activity sheets ready for little explorers, and coronation crafts in our Courtyard Café and make sure to visit our Garden Centre to sow a seed to take home.
