Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival
Newport
Newport
The Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival is a weekend for local businesses, organisations and communities to celebrate our Biosphere status together, with events for everyone, all over the Island!
There will be talks and practical workshops at the Quay Arts Centre in Newport and a variety of imaginative and educational activities at our partner, the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary’s FOCAS Festival. All over the rest of the Island, other organisations will be running their own events too. Expect fun and interaction for all as well as Biosphere learning that is engaging, thought-provoking and relevant to you.
The festival will include nature and art walks in town and country, craft sessions for families and adults, open days at nature sites, local talks specific to the Isle of Wight, sessions on green energy, nature friendly gardening tips, music, storytelling and more.
