Alverstoke Garden Walkabout

About

Alverstoke garden walkabout 2023

Sat 17 and Sun 18 June 2023, 1 - 5pm

Alverstoke residents are opening their private gardens to visitors.  Interesting private gardens and allotments await your visit in June in Alverstoke Village, situated on the Hampshire Solent.

The seaside microclimate allows palms and exotic plants to thrive together with mature shrubs, while ponds, model railways, aviaries and garden art make the Walkabout a must visit event.

Who doesn't enjoy a good look around other people's gardens?

There will be plant sales and refreshments in some gardens,  so do remember to bring some cash!

The Parish Centre will be open for toilets and teas, strawberries and cream and you will be able to view the plans for the proposed new Parish Centre, for which this event is raising money. There again will be a Pimm's tent outside the Parish centre.

The ticket consists of a programme listing all the gardens, a stylised map of their locations and information on upcoming fundraising events. TICKETS: £8 each adult, accompanying children free.
