Next door to Lee-on-the-Solent town and beach is Stokes Bay beach and seafront which was voted one of the 10 best places for a picnic in the UK. You'll find the Solent Springs adventure golf course, kayak & paddleboard hire, children’s splash park, and plenty of open spaces that are excellent for kite flying.
The bay provides great views of the Isle of Wight, with views over Ryde and Fishbourne.
Stokes Bay is a great place to watch the sunset, enjoy an evening paddleboard or swim, or fish and chips on the beach or in the local resturant overlooking the beach. This sweeping bay is home to Stokes Bay sailing club, the Mullbury Harbour memorial, Gosport and Fareham inshore lifeboat station, Stoked Watersports for kayak and paddleboard hire. The historic Alverbank Hotel is located at the Lee-on-the-Solent end of the bay behind which is Stanley Park, home to a number of events during the summer months.
Dogs are only welcome on the beach outside of the main holiday season 1st Oct - 30th April.
