Lancing College

About

The impressive listed buildings of Lancing College, perched on a spur of the South Down between Brighton and Worthing and looking out to sea, provide an ideal and unusual venue for your function. It stands in a downland estate of some 550 acres.
The Colletge offers attractive facilities for receptions, dinners, conferences, exhibitions, photo shoots and film locations in an ambience which owes much to the elegance and fine workmanship of its buildings.
Most of the sports facilities at Lancing College can be hired independently of its other facilities.
There are a variety of rooms available for hire, but during school holiday time only. These include:
The Dining Hall - an oak floored, part panelled and high vaulted Hall, completed in 1865, with a raised dais at one end and a servery separated by a panelled partition at the other. The Hall, measuring 100' x 30', seats up to 200 in comfort, its capacity varying according to table layout and requirements.
The Megarry Room - an attractively decorated, well furnished and carpeted room which will seat up to 75 in an environment which is at once intimate and yet spacious. The room is suitable for seminars and small dinners/receptions.
