Located half way between Haslemere and Godalming in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Wessex Distillery has been crafting gin since 2017. A family run business, this craft distillery strives to create the best English gin. Open to visitors you can enjoy a gin distillery tour, which will take you step by step through the distillation process, so you can learn how we make the best British craft gin in the UK.
Your host will give you an insight into our day-to-day operations, and you will learn about the history of gin, the local area before you head to get involved and distill your own gin with their gin lab activity. Use your own copper gin still to create your own gin recipe, bottle it and take it home. This 2 hour experience also includes sampling some of the current Wesssex gin range, a G&T on arrival.
This fun immersive experience is available to book on Thursday's and Saturdays. Private hire is also available, for up to 16 people for an exclusive gin lab experience, the minimum is 8 guests. Working in teams of two, you will create your own bottle of bespoke craft gin in a real distillery. We can even arrange a blind taste test to put you to the test and find out who is the best gin distiller!
