About

River Hamble Country Park is a place to play, picnic, relax and explore. Have a ramble around our ancient woodland and enjoy seasonal changes - from bluebells in spring to fantastic autumn colours. Discover the abundant wildlife on offer, including curlews along the river and skylarks in the fields, plus an array of wildflowers, insects and reptiles.

The River Hamble is what makes our country park so unique. There's not only stretches of scenic shoreline to wander along and explore, but plenty of opportunities to get out on the water too. You can enjoy stand up paddleboarding, kayaking and crabbing, and visit play areas and our dog-friendly exercise field. River Hamble Country Park is a wonderful place to explore everything the area has to offer.
