A very warm welcome to The Golden Lion! Our cosy pub in Winchester, offering lots of warmth and Irish charm! If you've never visited us before, we would love to invite to enjoy fantastic freshly cooked food, award winning ales and extensive wine selection.
We serve fine wines, real ales and tasty food at it's best every day of the week. So come and enjoy a meal, a bottle of wine or hold your special occasion with us, or simply pop in and say hello for a quick drink, we'd love to meet you!
We are very dog friendly and are featured on the Doggie Pubs website!
We have a landscaping patio out the front of the pub, and a large beer garden out the back, with a covered and heated shelter, suitable for functions or just a drink, and also a separate dog garden for your pet to use, complete with water and bins.

We cater for a wide range of events, ie small weddings, meetings, birthdays, wakes etc.
We offer full sit-down meals, or a buffet style menu.
We hold popular music nights twice a month, starting from 8:30pm.
Traditional Bluegrass music takes place on the last Tuesday of the month, and Irish Music is performed on the second Thursday of the month.
Come along and enjoy great pub food and award winning ales, with acoustic music and good company!
