Montparnasse

About

Modern European cuisine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Montparnasse is a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Southsea. From the beginning the aim was to bring laid-back fine dining to Portsmouth and Southsea. John Saunders the proprietor has over 30 years experience in the restaurant business and has perfected an attentive yet unobtrusive style of service in a friendly atmosphere.

Montparnasse prides itself on using only the freshest and finest ingredients (sourced locally wherever possible) and all their meals are prepared to perfection. They regularly change their menu and in addition they hold their very popular seasonal food and wine pairing dinners.

The restaurant is the perfect destination for the discerning diner and we also offer a private dining room for up to 30 people suitable for weddings, conferences, birthday dinners and any other special occasion.

They love food and wine and will do their very best to ensure that you do too. Whether it is a table for two in the restaurant or a party of up to thirty people in the private dining room.
