Established in 2007, Cobbs was founded out of a passion for supplying quality food with provenance to our customers as well as providing a platform to the immense volume of artisanal producers on our doorstep.
In our Hungerford farm shop, you will find a fantastic delicatessen, butchery, florist, and indoor play barn.
We work closely with many local producers to offer customers a whole host of products including luxury dairy ice cream, freshly baked bread, honey, preserves and chutneys, cheese, dairy, flour, eggs, cereals, tea, fresh fish, juices, and biscuits. You will find quality seasonal produce available in the farm shop throughout the year, and where possible, we make sure this is locally sourced or British.
The core focus on our traditional butchery counter is quality. We look to source our meat from local farms, whose standards of welfare and attention to detail match our own exacting standards. Our friendly team of experienced butchers are on site to cater to your needs seven days a week. You will find everything from free-range pork and poultry to local dry-aged beef, lamb, and seasonal game. We dry age all our beef on site for a minimum of 28 days, as well as make all our sausages by hand.
Our café is also open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake, and Sunday roasts. We are fully licensed with indoor and outdoor dining options available – dogs are very welcome on our terrace, and we have a fantastic play park and garden for children to enjoy too. We change our menu seasonally and use as many local products as possible which, you can also buy from our farm shop. We recommend booking a table through our website to avoid disappointment.
Lastly, we also have a fantastic indoor wooden play barn at Cobbs. With two levels to discover and explore children can really let their imagination run wild in here. We run weekly classes in our play barn and host some fantastic family-fun, seasonal events throughout the year. With so much on offer, Cobbs can be a lovely day out for the whole family to enjoy.
