The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway is an award-winning heritage railway steaming alongside the Chiltern Hills on an approximately 1-hour round trip. The line operates between stations at Chinnor in Oxfordshire and crosses over the county-boundary to Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire. Book ahead for the restaurant car serving lunches and cream teas. A great destination for a family visit with steam and vintage diesel services.

There is free parking at Chinnor together with a station café and souvenir shop, or for those arriving by National Rail services there is easy interchange with Chiltern Railways at Princes Risborough. Open from Mothering Sunday to Hallowe’en on Sundays and Public Holidays, plus Thursdays in School Holidays. For all timetables and fares see the website or call 07979 055366 (daily 10.00 – 16.00).
