About

The parish of Liss consists of 3,567 acres of semi-rural countryside, and is one of the largest in East Hampshire.

Liss is one of the gateways to the South Downs National Park and has a small shopping area for visitors to enjoy.

The village has its own railway station, on the Portsmouth Direct Line and has a wealth of history that dates back from the Iron Age.

The village is situated 3.3 miles north-east of Petersfield, on the A3 road, on border with the county of West Sussex.

Things to do near Liss

Experience a re-creation of an Iron Age farm settlement from 2,000 years ago and visit Butser Ancient Farm.

The farm is a wonderful outdoor space showcasing Ancient Britain through experimental archaeology.

Why not visit Queen Elizabeth Country Park  with fourteen hundred acres of downland and woodland situated in the South Downs National Park, there's plenty to do for all the family.
