Experience the world premiere of "The Storytellers," an enchanting immersive son et lumière event set within the breath taking Winchester Cathedral.
This immersive walking tour invites visitors to explore a series of captivating light and sound installations, bathing every inch of the Cathedral interior in light and sound, celebrating the rich tapestry of literature, poetry, and the oral traditions.

Delve into dedicated areas that honour literary giants from Shakespeare to the classics, with immersive experiences that breathe life into these timeless works. Children's literature and classic tales are also celebrated, creating an captivating and mesmerising atmosphere for audiences of all ages.


Family offer: Just £25 for 2 adults and up to 4 children (aged 3-16) on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th March

As you journey through the Cathedral you will emerge in the nave, surrounded in 360 degree projections, and where the illuminated artworks will transport you into realms of fantasy, romance, science fiction, and adventure, all set to a newly composed series of sound artworks. Each installation brings to life beloved genres, weaving together the narratives that have shaped our storytelling heritage, on an ever moving ever evolving fine art installation.

Created by Luxmuralis, who create some of the worlds largest fine art installation, and "Art on an Epic scale", the visionary art collective known for their breath taking light installations and innovative soundscapes are returning to Winchester for the 5th time. "The Storytellers" merges art with literature, inviting participants to engage with the narratives that inspire and connect us all. Join us for an unforgettable journey through light, sound, and storytelling in one of the UK's most iconic cathedrals.
