The Bands of HM Royal Marines commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day in front of their home audience at the New Theatre Royal - with a performance by The Oceanaires Big Band.
Since their concert last year, the Oceanaires have had the pleasure working with acclaimed band leader Syd Lawrence. He has finely tuned the band in preparation for this concert series which sees the performers on stage in Portsmouth and Truro in Cornwall, as well as recording a number of tracks to be released on the RMBS YouTube channel later this year.
Captain Phil Trudgeon and the Oceanaires are excited to be coming back to Portsmouth and the NTR, bringing with them a programme to honour and commemorate those who bought peace to our shores 80 years ago.
