Paper Daisy Events are delighted to announce their return to The British Engineerium for a grand weekend Spring Makers Fair with the museum opening and in steam throughout weekend too!
The event will be held over a full weekend Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th May, both inside the grand Coal Shed Exhibition Hall and outside the surrounding museum grounds too.
Expect to find an extremely wide range of talented makers, artists & foodies offering high quality and unique products - hand crafted and lovingly made.
Take this opportunity to explore and meet up to 100 creative & small batch independent businesses from across Sussex each day! - All of whom have been specially selected for the curated event and set within the wonderful, impressive, historic grounds of The British Engineerium!
You'll also be able to sample some very tasty treats, to eat there or take home, with a full bar on offer too.
There's no better way to discover & support many local small businesses in a wonderful & relaxed atmosphere, whilst shopping with quality & originality - a great day out for all!
The museum will be in Steam with guided tours available to book throughout the weekend! Showcasing the power and beauty of these magnificent machines. The venue is the perfect setting to witness history come alive. Get up close to the impressive engines, chat with knowledgeable enthusiasts, and experience the sights and sounds of a bygone era. You'll find live music from local bands performing each afternoon.
Local international artist Nick Sayers will be offering a highly unique interactive art experience, where science meets art with his giant drawing machines - this is not to be missed and fun for all ages!
10:30 - 4:30 each day, last entry 4:00pm to Fair.
Entry to the Makers Fair is FREE, but we are operating an optional Priority Access Ticket. Tickets are limited and offer priority entrance to The Coal Shed Exhibition Hall in the event of queues forming. The purchase of tickets will allow you priority access at a selected time over any free entry queues.
Cost £1.50 plus booking fee, Children under 16 accompanied by an adult are free.
