Anya Gallaccio: preserve opens at Turner Contemporary in Margate, Kent from the 28th September until Sunday 12 January 2025.
The exhibition showcases the relationship between art and the environment and presents works that connect with Kents natural heritage. This exhibition introduces her sculptures and large-scale installations so that visitors can engage with her work highlighting preserving fragile ecosystems.
Anya Gallaccio is known for her innovative use of organic and materials that last for a short time, such as apples, flowers and chalk, and for her explorations of transformation, Gallaccio has reshaped our understanding of contemporary sculpture.
Turner Contemporary is free to visit and is wheel chair accessible. It is a great option for a rainy day or to help stretch your budget a little further when visiting the Kent Coast.
