The fantastic Light Up Maidstone Festival returns this February to Maidstone Town Centre to lit up the evening with light displays and interactive installations as well as live, culturally diverse entertainment.
Local schools and hundreds of children will be will be taking part in free artistic workshops in the lead up to the festival, creating their own unique lanterns which they will then have the opportunity to showcase during the parade.
Entertainment will begin in the town centre with a brass band from 5pm with the parade beginning at County Hall at 6.30pm culminating in a finale show in Julibee Square.
Parents, guardians and local residents will be welcome to join in the parade as the festival will be free to attend.
