The Hotwalls Studios bring artists and designer makers together in an exceptional heritage location, to start and grow their creative ventures in an environment of mutual support, creativity and innovation.
All 13 studios open their doors between 11am and 4pm, for the public to chat, watch and buy. Find demonstrations and possible drop in sessions throughout the studios, as well as a guest artist in the Historic Round Tower.
Open Studios showcase some of the city’s brightest creative talent. With a range of artists and designer makers working in the studios, you will be able to watch them at work and purchase or commission professional pieces.
Don't forget, The Canteen is tucked in amongst the studios offering a delicious menu - and some spectacular views too!
Open Studios Guest Artist Programme
There's something new to explore every month with the Guest Artist Programme, where a special exhibition will take place during every Open Studios. Each month a different guest artist will use the Round Tower for the day as their own studio.
This fantastic opportunity allows the Hotwalls Studios to give upcoming or developed artists the chance to work in a Grade 1 listed building, associate themselves with the excellent cultural sector of Portsmouth, and surround themselves with Hotwalls Studios finest artists.
