Join us for an evening of chocolate-infused magic in the Painted Hall hosted by renowned 18th century chocolate maker Grace Tosier.
The proprietor of Greenwich's famous Chocolate House, played by a live costumed interpreter from History Riot, will personally welcome you to her Chocolate Soiree in the Painted Hall for a flavour of the renowned Baroque dance evenings she used to hold for royalty and people of influence back in the 18th century.
Guests will be treated to a mesmerising Masquerade Baroque dance performance by beautifully costumed professional dancers. You will also have the chance to learn the steps to a traditional Baroque Contradance, accompanied by a string quartet, against the grand backdrop of the Painted Hall.
There will be plentiful chocolate-flavoured treats to sample throughout the evening including a cascading chocolate fountain, chocolate cocktails and petit fours.
Tickets include:
- Out-of-hours access to the Painted Hall.
- Entry to the Chocolate House Greenwich exhibition in the Visitor Centre.
- The opportunity to take part in a Baroque-themed contradance with professional dancers.
- A Q&A with an historical interpreter from History Riot portraying Grace Tosier.
