As a memorable National Hunt season draws to a close, Newbury Racecourse is gearing up for the start of another thrilling Flat season, commencing with the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials Weekend on Friday 19 & Saturday 20 April. The season begins in style with multiple Group races to watch and enjoy whilst a host of entertainment is on offer for racegoers with the return of the ever-popular craft beer festival. With over 10 local breweries offering more than 30 real ales and ciders to try; it is safe to say there will be plenty to choose from when looking for a tipple to celebrate any winners!
The craft beer festival will be complemented by a host of behind-the-scenes opportunities including parade ring tours, jockey talks and trips to the starts while racegoers will also have the opportunity to get up close with a retired racehorse, courtesy of Newbury's charity partner, Greatwood.
The weekend will also see the return of the famous Dubai Duty Free marquee – where racegoers will have the chance to enjoy complimentary Arabic coffee and dates and win fabulous prizes including race day tickets, free gifts and free entry into the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draws by spinning the Dubai Duty Free Wheel of Fortune.
Racegoers will also be able to enjoy live acoustic music throughout the two days' racing as well as an afterparty on the Saturday.
