Deck the Hulls: A Victorian Yuletide Adventure

About

Step aboard HMS Warrior for a heartwarming Victorian Christmas experience, including a meeting with Father Christmas! Join the crew as they prepare for a festive celebration in true Victorian style, transforming the ship into a winter wonderland.

Your journey begins with the Victorian Christmas Present Trail: follow clues across the ship to uncover the unique gifts the crew have prepared for their loved ones. Along the way, you’ll learn about the lives of those who served on HMS Warrior and the special people waiting for them back home, as well as getting the chance to sample traditional sugar mice as a sweet treat. At the end of your adventure, step into the Captain’s Cabin, where Father Christmas himself awaits to share a festive Victorian gift with each child and hear what they are hoping for this Christmas.

Marvel at live Victorian entertainment, help the crew transform the gun deck with handcrafted decorations and lift your voice in song with lively carol singing. Kids and adults alike can make cherished memories as they create homemade Victorian Christmas crafts to take home.

For a taste of true Victorian holiday cheer, adults are invited to savour our finest rum, while children can enjoy the flavours of a traditional non-alcoholic treat, dandelion and burdock.

Celebrate the season with us aboard HMS Warrior as we deck the hulls for yuletide! This event will be running on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December between 11am to 4pm. Entry to the event and meeting Father Christmas is included with a valid ticket to HMS Warrior.
