Led by Alison Smith founder of Lunar Glass. Create a set of Christmas decorations and a trinket dish or tea-light holder in this fun and relaxed introduction to glass fusing. A perfect festive experience with friends or family! Suitable for all abilities, and even those with limited dexterity.
In this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn the basics of glass fusing, be shown a number of techniques for assembling different designs in glass, and create a festive 9x9cm square trinket dish or tea-light holder, along with a set of 6 hanging Christmas decorations.
All materials are provided. There will be a wide selection of glass to choose from to assemble your creations; including pre-cut sheet glass shapes, frits, stringers and some metallic dichroic glass to add sparkle.
Your glass creations will be taken away to be fired and can be collected from the Lunar Glass chalet in the Christmas Market or posted to you for an additional charge of £5. Pieces will be fired and ready to collect or post within 1 week.
Open to those aged 14+ – anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
