About

RUNNING TIME:
This walk about production lasts around 50 minutes.

FAMILY SHOW:
Aimed at children and families but this interactive rendition of the classic story of Alice and the White Rabbit can be enjoyed at any age.
The experience is ideal for children as they aren't sitting in a chair trying to sit still. They are in the open air and free to move around at any point during the show. They will run after the white rabbit and follow him around the gardens as he guides Alice on an adventure through wonderland where they will meet the Mad Hatter, the caterpillar, the cat, the ducchess, the Queen and a host of beloved Wonderland characters (all performed by Elliot and Myfanwy).

WEST END CAST:
The show is performed by actors from London's West End. Elliot Goodhill takes on the role of the white rabbit. He is fresh from a run of 'The Play that goes wrong" at the Ducchess Theatre and Myfanwy Grace plays Alice. She is fresh from performing as Maria Von Trapp with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall.

MUSIC AND COMEDY:
The show features 7 brilliant original songs so the music keeps things lively throughout. The show is very faithful to the book - if your children are reading or studying the book - and as such, there is a lot of comedy throughout.
It is a really special show and we'd love to see you this Easter.

FULLY ACCESSIBLE:
The venue and experience are fully accessible. Please email: info@newforestopenairtheatre.co.uk to ask questions about accessibility or to advise of any requirements.

TOILETS AVAILABLE:
There are public toilets in the park close to the performance area (a two minute walk).

REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE:
There will be refreshments and there is also a cafe in the park.

PLAYGROUND AND PARK:
The show takes place close to the playground area with swings, slides, climbing frame, roundabout. So, you could bring your children to the show and stay to play in the park afterwards.

CAR PARKING:
There is parking found on Ridgeway Lane. There is a 5 minute walk from the car park to the performance area. This will be signposted. The box office will be situated at the pergola in the gardens close to the tennis courts and outdoor gym area.
It is also possible to park in the smaller car park off Rookes Lane which is closer to the performance area but only has space for a few cars.
It is also possible to park in Lymington and walk to the gardens. The walk is about ten minutes.

WEATHER:
If it rains, we will carry on with performances. The only time when we will cancel performances and offer refunds will be if there is a severe weather warning and the council has to close the park.

EASTER GIFTS FOR YOUR CHILD:
If you would like to buy your child an Easter rabbit toy or Easter eggs, you can order these when you purchase your tickets. It is a challenging time for the arts and all proceeds go towards enabling us to create more world class theatre like this here in the New Forest.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS:
If you have any questions about the performance, please email: info@newforestopenairtheatre.co.uk and we will be happy to help you.
