A corporate day at Kent Life can be an enjoyable day out for all colleagues and clients.
Buffets or lunches can be provided as well as morning coffee and afternoon tea.
As part of your corporate day booking you will get the opportunity to stay all day and explore the beautiful surroundings here at Kent Life, including our historic houses, gardens, orchards, Britain’s last working coal-fired Oast House and traditional farmyard animals.

We are also a licensed wedding venue. A beautiful Kentish setting with only one wedding per day allows a dedicated service from our wedding co-ordinator and team.
Your guests have exclusive use of Kent Life grounds after 6pm and quality catering is on offer with a vast choice of home-cooked menus. Weddings are provided by Vincent’s Catering.
Available Rooms to Hire:
Wagon Store - Complete with timber beams that are decorated annually with dried hops, The Wagon Store is a delightful room bathed in natural light from the many windows flanking one wall, giving you a perfect view overlooking the fantastic Orchard and Kent Life grounds.
Village Hall - This authentic room has high ceilings and wooden floors. It also includes wash room facilities and bar area. The Village Hall is situated just across a small block-paved pathway from the Wagon Store and is great as a conference room, or for evening wedding receptions.
The Chapel (weddings only) - You may wish to hold your ceremony in the 19th century Old Wedding Chapel. Originally built in Cuxton in 1897 and moved and rebuilt in Kent Life’s vintage village in 2000. The Chapel has now been deconsecrated and licensed for civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 70 guests.
The Cellar – Located beneath the Tea Room, the cellar is ideal for small informal gatherings or training facilities. Our caterers are just a stones throw away, ready to supply all your refreshment needs.
Kent Life is located next to the M20, five minutes from the centre of Maidstone. It is one hour from London and 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and ports.
M20 Coast east-bound: Exit at Junction 6. Take the 3rd exit at the first roundabout & 3rd exit on the second roundabout towards Aylesford. Kent Life is on the left past The Village Hotel.
M20 London west-bound: Get into the Maidstone/Chatham filter lane and exit at Junction 6. Then take the 4th exit off the large roundabout towards Aylesford. Kent Life is on the left past The Village Hotel.
Train: Frequent direct train services from London Victoria and London Bridge (60 minutes journey time) or stations in Kent to Maidstone East or West Stations with taxi
Bus: Arriva bus 155 stops right outside, ask for The Malta
Boat: The Kentish Lady sails from the centre of Maidstone, just five minutes’ walk from Maidstone West, 10 minutes from Maidstone East, and a few minutes from the Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre. The boat drops off 200m walk from Kent Life. This is a seasonal service – please check their timetable before you visit.
