Westrop Farm is in a hundred and fifty acres of the North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. At the highest point in Berkshire, there are far-reaching views towards Reading in the south, Didcot in north, across fields and trees as far as the eye can see.
The farm dates back to the early sixteenth century, with several ancient buildings, including a listed Tythe Barn, Dairy, Stables and refurbish Granary around the traditional farmyard.
Yet for all its tranquil remoteness, the farm is just an easy 4 miles from the junction (Jct 13) of the M4 motorway and the A34, a major north-south trunk road, 50 miles to London, half an hour to Oxford, 40 mins to Heathrow.
We’re just five minutes to Waitrose in Thatcham, and 8-minutes to Thatcham mainline station to Reading and Paddington (40-mins).
The farm itself has twenty-thousand trees, several valleys with streams, footpaths, a bridleway leading into Bucklebury Common, as well as the usual fields, grasslands and ponds. Guests are free to roam at will among some of the loveliest landscape in England
