With panoramic views across The Solent, safe swimming and great watersports, a day on the beach at Lee-on-the-Solent will delight all ages.
Lee-on the-Solent seafront has a children’s play area, a splash park, a skate park, seafront cafes, independant shops and restaurants and plenty of places to get an ice cream! The promenade invites you to take a stroll, its flat and easy to visit with wheelchairs or buggies and with plenty of benches you can stop and enjoy the views of the Isle of Wight. Look out for the wind surfers or sailing boats out and about on the water.
Stroll along the promenade in an easterly direction and you will pass Lee-on-the-Solent sailing club, before arriving at the Diving Museum (currently closed) at the start of Stokes Bay. Between the sailing club and the Diving Museum is Alver Valley Country Park and coffee shop.
Head in a westerly direction and you will arrive at the War memorial, Hovercraft Museum and onwards to Hill Head.
