If you’re looking for inspiration for a day trip, West Sussex gardens are bursting into life as we speak. Come and enjoy the seasonal spectacle at some of our most beautiful gardens in the county. Some of these hidden gems are tucked away behind old flint walls or magically seeming to double in size and unfold before your eyes! Many also have woodland trails and beautiful vistas overlooking the countryside. |

Held between mid-April to early May, the festival is regarded as one of the top tulip displays in Europe and is set against the breath-taking backdrop of Arundel castle’s gardens. A sea of colour awaits this year with over 100,000 tulip bulbs planted by the award-winning Head Gardener, Martin Duncan and his team. Seeing these bulbs, (which have been dormant underground throughout the winter) burst into bloom, really is a sight to behold! |
