Stubcroft is an award winning, family run site with a friendly & welcoming atmosphere close to the South Coast’s best sandy beaches. Surrounded by fields and sheltered by attractive hedges it has both electric hook-ups and traditional tent pitches.
Our modern Award-Winning eco-friendly amenity block includes showers, toilets, washbasins, family rooms with baby change, hairdryers, washup sinks, laundry, phone charging lockers, fridge freezer and a well-stocked shop & reception area.

The shop serves teas & coffee and stocks a good range of groceries & camping goods. We hire firepits for classic evening campfires complete with logs, marshmallows & toasting sticks!

From the A27 Chichester bypass take the A286 south of Chichester towards the Witterings & Bracklesham. After 3-4 miles there is a long straight road through Birdham village. Fork left onto the B2198 at a mini-roundabout by a Shell garage signposted to East Wittering & Bracklesham Bay. After approx. half a mile, there is a S bend. Turn right on the apex of the second bend into a little lane called Tile Barn Lane. Go 200yds, over two speed humps, then turn left before the houses onto a long, gravel farm lane. After approximately half a mile you will find the campsite on the right-hand side, just before the farmhouse and barns. Please check in at reception on arrival. The nearest beaches are approximately 15-20-minute walk or a short cycle ride down the private lanes or 2-3 minutes by car.
If arriving by car, please follow the instructions and, try not to rely on GPS or Satnav devices, as these can lead you down lanes that are unsuitable for vehicles. However, if your Satnav/GPS device has a "Via" function, you can enter 'PO20 8PJ' via 'Tile Barn Lane' which should bring you to us.
For people arriving by train, get off at Chichester Station. From the Platform 1 of the train station, the bus stop is across the main road. If you are coming from the Portsmouth direction (Platform 2) you need to cross the railway either via the level crossing or footbridge. From the bus station, the 52 & 53 buses run every 15 -20 minutes during the daytime. At weekends and evenings, they are every 30 minutes. Ask for Stubcroft Campsite & look for the mini roundabout by the Shell Garage, half a mile further on get off at the stop just after the sharp S-Bends. There is a sign for the campsite on the opposite bus stop. Go down Tile Barn Lane & follow the signs for the campsite.
