Hawthorn Farm Caravan Park is situated within 28 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, containing some 5000 established ornamental fruit and woodland trees providing an air of tranquility within some of the loveliest countryside in Kent.
Within the boundaries of Hawthorn Farm are located some 150 privately owned holiday homes, all of which have been tastefully sited to provide the maximum amount of space and scenery, not at all regimented as is usual on most other parks. Some of our owners reside in Europe and as far away as Canada. We also have some 250 pitches available for tourists.
During the course of a normal season from February to December, we welcome some 40,000 visitors, not only from the UK but all of Europe, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, South America and the USA. Within 300 yards of Hawthorn Farm is Martin Mill railway station, providing a regular service to London.
The neighbouring village contains a typical country inn for visitors requiring a sense of the area. A local bus service also runs through the village to Deal and Dover. We are the closest caravan park to the Port of Dover, only ten minutes drive away. Blue Flag beaches are also within easy reach of the park. Local history castles such as Dover, Deal and Walmer are close by. Sporting holiday makers are spoilt for choice with several fine golf courses, fishing, swimming, tennis, bowls and most other activities available.
Since proudly winning the inaugural Hoverspeed ‘Welcome to Kent’ award for Best Caravan Park in 1994, we have carried out extensive improvements to the reception area, shop, toilet blocks and laundry room at Hawthorn Farm. We fully intend to continue maintaining and improving the high standards already achieved. As are all our parks, Hawthorn farm is a member of both the British Holiday & Home Parks Association and the National Caravan Council.
